Onify - Object Management

The smartest platform for digitization.

Digitizing and automating manual processes is really a matter of time and is often a must in order to adapt the business to new conditions. However, implementing it is not the easiest thing. Most systems in a company are like individual islands with no common connections between them and each system has its own interface. This is what Onify solves in a completely new way we call it Object Management. Onify indexes all information from all systems into a database and creates objects. The objects can then be manipulated from the interface to all other systems. Or we can handle the objects in an automated process. It's actually simple. Easy to build, even easier to use.

Simple user interface

We have created an interface that is simple, easy to use and logical. What is presented in the interface is based on role and authorization. Search - type Google - is an important part that makes it easy to find an object and then show which activities (automations) you can perform. Training is hardly needed, and even if you change systems behind Onify, it will not affect the user who is still using Onify's interface.

"The benefit of switching from legacy SW ordering system to Onify was directly related to maintenance costs and unifying our technology stack – the old system was reaching its end-of-life and becoming impossible to maintain, and the implementation didn’t conform to our current standards and policies. So in this case, the advantage was about technological maturity. Now the SW ordering service is implemented on the same platform as other similar services, and this is a direct benefit for our technical staff. And replacing old legacy systems is more easy now."

Object management

The idea of Onify is to gather information for an object from many sources. Take for example a person, who can be in Active Directory, HR system, Recruitment system, Customer database, IDM, etc. Onify then presents the person as ONE object regardless of where the information is located, not as several. You can, if you have permission, manipulate the information from one location to all connected systems. Or create an automation that performs activities for the person.

Example: If I am the manager of an employee, I can change the department or permissions. As an employee, I can register cases with the Service Desk, change my information, book vacation days or apply for authorizations. An object can be anything; only imagination and needs set the limits.

Search is power

Everything in Onify is an object - we can search and display these objects in a variety of ways. As a list, as an overview, or detailed information. We can search for any data and get to see all objects related to that data and it's lightning fast. If we continue with the person analogy from above, I could see where the person is employed or the perspective of all the employees in that office, or who is the person's manager, or what people the manager is responsible for. I can link events to the person.

Example: which invoices/orders has a person created or which dates have invoices been created from the person's department. It all depends on what information you have indexed and related to each other - this is so smart and powerful. And Onify doesn't own the data - we just display it. Everything remains in the system or systems.

Areas of use

  • Self Service - Ordering portals for internal and external services - with rights that can be controlled down to attribute level
  • Hiring processes - automate the hiring process so your new employee gets the professional and productive start everyone wants
  • Termination Processes - Ensure security when someone quits, manage all authorizations from one place.
  • Ordering portals for products - search and order, it doesn't have to be more difficult - for you internally or for your customers.
  • Manage rights and access, for example to shared folders
  • Manage the server park - do departments continuously order new servers, who ordered, how long will it remain, which services will be connected to it.
  • Create simple interfaces for users who have to spend time in multiple systems to manage the same process and automate and much more!
